Officer Technical and Maintenance

Position Title: Officer – Technical & Maintenance

Department: Maintenance & Utilities

Reporting To: Maintenance Head

Experience: 2 to 3 Years in plant maintenance

Qualification: Diploma in Electrical

Responsibilities:

•      Coordinate with the Service provider.

•      Coordinate with Government officials like the Electrical Inspectorate, BESCOM.

•      Pollution Control Board

•       Identify the Root cause of the equipment breakdown and take necessary precautionary measures.

•      Encourage staff/operators to think creatively regarding cutting costs, improving production systems.

•      Monitor daily utility consumption and cost and take necessary action to control the consumption.

•      Planning and procurement of spares and consumables, and their inventory control.

•      Documentation Control as per the Quality manual.

•      Participate in Quality audits from customers and Certifying bodies and prepare the Compliance Report.

•      Coordinate with Production Manager for routine/breakdown maintenance and preventive maintenance. Help decide the priority of pending work.

•      To conduct induction/training of newly recruited technicians and also train the existing Team to enhance their capability.

•      Inspection, Installation, and commissioning of new equipment.

•      Conduct Safety Audit of the Plant and equipment and attend the Safety Committee Meetings.

•      To identify, recommend, and adopt energy-saving concepts and Sustainable development practices.

•      To improve the facility to achieve a better quality of the product and a safe working environment.

•      Provide management with all the information for assessing the product cost.

▪ Local language (Kannada) is Mandatory.
