Odoo Developer

Role Overview: You will be joining Zehntech as a Python Odoo Developer where you will be responsible for developing and customizing Odoo modules to meet the specific requirements of clients. This role will require a strong background in Python development, hands-on experience with Odoo, and a passion for building scalable and efficient business applications. Your role will involve collaborating with project managers, business analysts, and stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions. Additionally, you will be integrating Odoo with third-party systems and applications using APIs and web services, optimizing Odoo performance, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring best practices for scalability, security, and reliability. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and customize Odoo modules such as CRM, sales, inventory, accounting, and HR based on client requirements. - Collaborate with project managers, business analysts, and stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions. - Design and implement customizations, workflows, and reports within the Odoo framework to meet business needs. - Integrate Odoo with third-party systems and applications using APIs and web services. - Optimize Odoo performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement best practices for scalability, security, and reliability. - Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following industry standards and best practices. - Conduct code reviews, provide feedback, and mentor junior developers to ensure code quality and consistency. - Stay updated with Odoo updates, new features, community modules, and evaluate their relevance to projects. - Document technical specifications, installation instructions, and user guides for Odoo solutions. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support and maintain existing Odoo implementations and provide technical assistance as required. Qualification Required: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; Master's degree preferred. - 2+ years of experience in Python development with a focus on Odoo development and customization. - Proficiency in Python programming language and familiarity with Odoo framework and development tools. - Strong understanding of relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL) and ORM concepts. - Experience with web technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and XML. - Knowledge of software development best practices, including version control, testing, and debugging. - Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and good communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively to meet project deadlines. - Passion for learning new technologies and adapting to evolving business requirements.
