The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in building high-performance, scalable applications and a passion for developing efficient backend services. Responsibilities Develop and Maintain Server-Side Logic: Write reusable, testable, and efficient code for server-side logic using Node.js. Integration of User-Facing Elements: Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic. Design and Implement APIs: Develop and maintain RESTful APIs to enable seamless data exchange between server and client applications. Database Management: Design, implement, and manage databases, ensuring optimal performance and data integrity. Security and Data Protection: Implement security and data protection measures to safeguard application and user data. Performance Optimization: Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks to ensure high-performance and responsiveness of applications. Testing and Debugging: Conduct thorough testing and debugging of applications to ensure functionality, reliability, and stability. Collaborate with Team Members: Work closely with other developers, designers, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality software solutions. Stay Updated with Industry Trends: Keep up-to-date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices in Node.js development. Requirements Proven Experience: At least 3 years of experience as a Node.js Developer or similar role. Strong Proficiency in Node.js: In-depth understanding of Node.js and its frameworks such as Express, Koa, or Hapi. JavaScript Expertise: Solid understanding of JavaScript and its asynchronous nature. Database Knowledge: Experience with relational (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and/or NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB). API Development: Proficient in developing and consuming RESTful APIs. Version Control Systems: Experience with Git and other version control systems. Familiarity with Front-End Technologies: Basic understanding of front-end technologies, such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js). Testing Frameworks: Experience with testing frameworks such as Mocha, Chai, Jasmine, or Jest. Security Best Practices: Knowledge of security best practices and measures to protect applications from vulnerabilities. Sound knowledge of PostgreSQL and also sound knowledge of mysql Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders. Agile Environment Experience: Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies. Preferred Qualifications Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Cloud Services: Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. Microservices Architecture: Knowledge of microservices architecture and containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes). Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD): Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins, Travis CI, or CircleCI. Why Join Us?
