Create 3D CAD designs, mechanisms, and ergonomic detailing (SolidWorks/Creo/Fusion 360).
Ensure designs meet child-safety standards (EN, ASTM, IS, CPSIA) and internal SOPs.
Validate materials, finishes, and structural strength for plastics, silicone, aluminum, and fabric assemblies.
Coordinate prototype development, tooling, and design validation tests.
Work with mould makers, vendors, QA, supply chain, and manufacturing for smooth project transfer.
Manage project timelines, cost targets, and launch readiness.
Handle design documentation, compliance, testing, and certification processes.
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Industrial/Product Design/Tool Engineering.
1015 years of experience in NPD, product design, plastics, or consumer products.
Strong skills in CAD software (SolidWorks/Creo/Fusion 360), Illustrator, Key Shot.
Knowledge of injection moulding, DFM/DFA, child-safety standards, and product testing.
Experience taking products from concept to production.
Strong communication, creativity, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
