Job description -

responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining secure network infrastructures, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems (IDS), and secure protocols, to protect an organization's data and systems from cyber threats. Key duties include monitoring network performance, responding to security incidents, performing vulnerability assessments, updating security software, and creating disaster recovery plans. They require strong technical skills in network hardware and software, a thorough understanding of security protocols, and often certifications like CCNA or CISSP.
· Design, implement and maintain the company's network infrastructure, including switches, routers,

· firewalls, and wireless access points, firewall configuration , Active & passive networking knowledge, Racking & stacking , server room design and installation.

· Provide Level 2 and Level 3 support for network devices, including troubleshooting and resolving network issues

· Perform network monitoring and analysis to ensure optimal network performance and identify potential issues

· Participate in network capacity planning and upgrade activities to ensure network scalability and reliability

· Work with other IT teams and vendors to implement and maintain network security solutions, including firewalls, intrusion prevention systems, and VPNs, Knowledge of CCTV, SURVELLEINCE , Networking , video conferencing solutions

· Develop and maintain network documentation, including network topology diagrams, IP address management, and configuration management

Required Candidate profile

· Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field

· 2+ years of experience in Cisco network engineering and support, with a focus on L2 and L3 support

· Cisco certifications, such as CCNA, CCNP, or CCIE, are highly preferred

· Strong knowledge of Cisco, Aruba, wireless, Cabling , networking technologies, including routing protocols (e.g., OSPF, BGP), switching technologies (e.g., VLANs, STP), and security technologies (e.g., ACLs, VPNs)

· Experience with network monitoring and analysis tools, such as SolarWinds, Wireshark, or PRTG

· Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

· Strong written and verbal communication skills

· Ability to work independently and in a team environment

Working Conditions:

. This is a full-time position that may require working outside of regular business hours to support network upgrades or respond to emergency situations.
. The position may require occasional travel to other company locations.
