Key Responsibilities

Provide
Level 2 network support
for LAN, WAN, WLAN, and data center networks
Troubleshoot and resolve
complex network issues
escalated from L1 teams
Configure, monitor, and maintain
routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless controllers
Perform
network performance analysis
, capacity planning, and optimization
Support
routing and switching protocols
(BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, VLANs, STP)
Manage and troubleshoot
firewalls, VPNs, and network security policies
Monitor network health using
NMS tools
(SolarWinds, PRTG, Nagios, etc.)
Implement
network changes
, upgrades, and patches following change management processes
Assist in
incident, problem, and root cause analysis (RCA)
Maintain
network documentation
, diagrams, and SOPs
Ensure compliance with
security and operational standards
Provide guidance and mentoring to
L1 network support staff
