Job Description

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Network Engineer to design, implement, and maintain reliable and secure network infrastructure. The role involves managing LAN, WAN, firewalls, routers, switches, and cloud networking to ensure seamless connectivity, data security, and system performance. The Network Engineer will work closely with IT, security, and operations teams to support both day-to-day network operations and long-term scalability.

Design, configure, and maintain network hardware and software (routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, VPNs, etc.).
Monitor network performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement optimizations.
Manage LAN/WAN, wireless networks, and cloud-based networking solutions.
Implement and maintain network security protocols to protect against threats.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues and outages.
Support VoIP, video conferencing, and unified communications systems.
Collaborate with security teams to ensure compliance with cybersecurity policies.
Conduct network capacity planning and upgrades to support business growth.
Prepare and maintain network documentation, diagrams, and configuration details.
Stay updated on emerging networking technologies and best practices.
Experience as a Network Engineer or in a similar role.
Strong knowledge of network protocols (TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, MPLS, DNS, DHCP, etc.).
Hands-on experience with Cisco, Juniper, Palo Alto, Fortinet, or similar networking equipment.
Proficiency in firewall management, VPNs, and network security tools.
Experience with cloud networking (AWS, Azure, GCP).
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Good understanding of network monitoring tools (Nagios, SolarWinds, Wireshark, etc.).
