Job Description

Job Title: AVP – Network & Security (Wi-Fi, LAN/WAN, Firewall) Location: Belapur, Navi Mumbai Experience Required: 10+ Years Industry: BFSI / Enterprise IT Infrastructure Key Responsibilities Wi-Fi Design & Implementation Lead end-to-end enterprise Wi-Fi rollout and design projects Manage wireless controllers (e.g., Cisco WLC) and optimize signal coverage Resolve user complaints related to poor Wi-Fi performance Configure secure guest Wi-Fi using NAC/Cisco ISE or equivalent LAN/WAN/Telecom Operations Design and maintain scalable LAN switching architectures Manage WAN technologies like MPLS , SD-WAN , Internet Leased Lines Coordinate with telecom vendors for link provisioning and escalations Replace and configure enterprise routers and switches (Cisco/Juniper/etc.) Firewall & Security Management Deploy and manage firewalls (Palo Alto, Check Point, ASA, etc.) Handle VPN configurations and remote user access Integrate Zscaler or MFA for secure access controls Regularly review and update firewall rules based on threat analysis User & Stakeholder Management Address user complaints related to network speed, connectivity, or service quality Explain technical network issues to non-technical internal stakeholders Proactively communicate planned maintenance or downtime Maintain detailed documentation for incident tracking and system changes Monitoring, Audits & Compliance Use tools like SolarWinds, PRTG, or equivalent for performance monitoring Participate in audits; resolve observations and ensure policy compliance Perform routine network health checks and preventive diagnostics Project Management & Change Control Lead or support infrastructure upgrade or expansion projects Follow structured change management processes during rollout windows Manage vendor SLAs and drive escalation for service delays Candidate Profile 10+ years of experience in network and security infrastructure Deep hands-on experience in Wi-Fi, LAN/WAN, firewalls, and VPN Proven expertise in stakeholder management and incident resolution Strong understanding of BFSI security and compliance frameworks Excellent communication, documentation, and leadership skill Interested Candidate Can Apply on cv.hr@evokehr.com
