Network Architect

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Network Architect to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of network architecture, particularly with Cisco Software-Defined Access (SDA) and Digital Network Architecture (DNA), along with hands-on experience with Cisco Catalyst switches and Cisco DNA Center.

Skills / Key Responsibilities

• Design, Implementation, and troubleshooting on next-gen technologies (SDWAN

Meraki, Viptela, Silverpeak), SDN, SD Access, Cisco ISE, Micro segmentation

TrustSec / 802.1x, Cloud Networking (Azure/AWS), Cisco NGFW, PA NGFW/ SCM)

• Configure routing protocols such as EIGRP, OSPF, IS-IS, and BGP, complex switch

networks built on vPC, VXLAN, BGP-EVPN, OTV, ACI, VMware NSX configurations

• Lead the planning, design, and deployment of Cisco Catalyst switches and DNA

Center for enterprise environments.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and

translate them into technical solutions.

• Should have handled a large and complex Network/ Security infrastructure

transformation/ migrations.

• Develop and maintain comprehensive network documentation, including diagrams,

configurations, and procedures.

• Perform network assessments, identify areas for improvement, and implement

optimization strategies.

Key Competencies

• Proficient in Cisco Catalyst Switching, Wireless (including Cisco Wireless LAN

Controllers), DNA Center, and Software-Defined Access (SDA).

• Experience with security tools and technologies such as firewalls, IDS/IPS, endpoint

protection, and OT network segmentation. Hands-on experience implementing

Software-Defined Access (SD-Access) and policy-driven network segmentation.

• Strong knowledge of Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE), including Security Group

Tags (SGT) and TrustSec frameworks.

• 802.1X Authentication: Proficient in implementing and troubleshooting 802.1X-based

wired/wireless network access using RADIUS (ISE), with experience integrating with

identity services.

• Cisco Wireless Solutions: Strong understanding of Cisco wireless controllers (9800

series), AP provisioning, RF tuning, and WLAN policy configuration.

• Routing & Switching: Well-versed in Layer 2/3 protocols, VLANs, STP, OSPF and

network troubleshooting in campus and branch environments.

• Cisco SD-Access Fabric mode deployment using LISP/VXLAN
• SGT, Cisco ISE - Profiling, Posturing, Segmentation

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in network architecture and design.
• Extensive knowledge of Cisco SDA and DNA solutions.
• Hands-on experience with Cisco Catalyst switches and Cisco DNA Center.
• Strong understanding of networking protocols, including TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, and

MPLS.

• Experience with network security best practices and technologies, such as firewalls,

VPNs, and IDS/IPS.

• Cisco certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or CCIE are highly desirable.
