● Lead NetSuite configuration and architecture decisions: account structure, custom records, forms,
role/permission design, and data model alignment to business processes.
● Design and implement SuiteFlow workflows, SuiteScript customizations, saved searches, and
dashboards to automate processes and surface actionable insights.
● Partner with finance, operations, sales, and IT stakeholders to document requirements, map
current-state/process gaps, and deliver future-state solutions in NetSuite.
● Build and maintain integrations with external systems (APIs, middleware, ETL) and manage data
flows, reconciliation, and error handling.
● Maintain data quality: design import/export processes, perform data cleansing, manage CSV imports,
and enforce validation rules.
● Create and maintain technical and user documentation; develop and deliver training for end users
and power users.
● Support releases, NetSuite upgrades, and environment change control; manage sandbox testing and
deployment.
● Deep functional knowledge of NetSuite modules (ERP/Financials, CRM, Inventory, Order
Management) and platform capabilities (SuiteFlow, SuiteScript, SuiteTalk, SuiteAnalytics) 1.
● Experience designing role-based permissions, subsidiaries, intercompany, and advanced financial
structures.
● Proven ability to design scalable workflows and automations using SuiteFlow and SuiteScript (or
oversee developers who script).
● Experience with integrations (REST/SOAP APIs, middleware) and data migration tools.
● Strong SQL or SuiteAnalytics Workbook skills for reporting and data analysis.
● Familiarity with change management, sandbox testing, and deployment best practices.
● 3–5+ years implementing, administering, or consulting on NetSuite in mid-market to enterprise
environments; experience across multiple industries is a plus.
● NetSuite Administrator, SuiteFoundation, or SuiteCloud Developer certification preferred.
● Background in accounting, finance, supply chain, or operations to map NetSuite to business
workflows.
● Experience leading NetSuite projects from discovery through deployment and post-go-live support.
