Job Description

As a Head Sales Manager in the higher education sector, your role is crucial in driving revenue growth and expanding institutional partnerships. Your main responsibilities include: - Owning and delivering quarterly and annual revenue targets - Leading institutional sales across universities, B-Schools, and HEIs nationwide - Building and scaling key account relationships with Vice Chancellors, Deans, Directors, and Boards - Driving a multi-product strategy through renewals, upsells, and new solution introductions - Identifying and developing new revenue verticals aligned with the existing client base - Overseeing the sales pipeline, including forecasting, pricing strategy, and closing operations - Collaborating with marketing and product teams to align GTM strategies, campaigns, and messaging - Leveraging CRM, analytics, AI, and automation to scale outreach and improve conversion To excel in this role, you must have: - 8-10 years of B2B sales and business development experience in sectors like Academic Content Publishing, EdTech (B2B Higher Education), Higher Ed SaaS, University Partnerships, and Corporate Learning with Campus Engagement Focus - Demonstrated success in high-ticket consultative selling and enterprise account management - Excellent CXO-level communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills - Deep understanding of revenue strategy, pipeline forecasting, and strategic sales planning - Digital-first mindset with experience using AI tools and automation platforms - Strong people skills with the ability to influence, build trust, and lead partnerships Additionally, the education requirement for this role is an MBA or PGDM (Full-Time) from a recognized Tier 1 or Tier 2 business school.
