Job Description

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Ø Determining annual and gross-profit plans by forecasting and developing annual sales quotas customer wise; projecting expected sales volume and profit for existing and new products; analyzing trends and results; establishing pricing strategies; recommending selling prices; monitoring costs, competition, supply, and demand.

Ø Meeting marketing and sales financial objectives by forecasting requirements; preparing an annual budget; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions.

Ø Achieving marketing and sales operational objectives by contributing marketing and sales information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews; preparing and completing action plans; implementing quality, and customer-service standards; resolving problems; completing audits; identifying trends; determining system improvements; implementing change.

Ø Accomplishing marketing and sales objectives by planning, developing, implementing, and evaluating advertising, merchandising, and trade promotion programs; developing field sales action plans.

Ø Identifying marketing opportunities by identifying consumer requirements; defining market, competitor's share, and competitor's strengths and weaknesses; forecasting projected business; establishing targeted market share.

Ø Improving product marketability and profitability by researching, identifying, and capitalizing on market opportunities; improving product packaging; coordinating new product development.

Ø Sustaining rapport with key accounts by making periodic visits; exploring specific needs; anticipating

new opportunities.Develop and implement effective sales strategies

Ø Lead nationwide sales team members to achieve sales targets

Ø Establish productive and professional relationships with key personnel in key distributor and customer accounts

Ø Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual sales forecasts

Ø Perform research and identify new potential customers and new market opportunities

Ø Provide timely and effective solutions aligned with clients’ needs

Ø Liaise with Marketing and Product Development departments to ensure brand consistency

Ø Stay up-to-date with new product launches and ensure sales team members are on board and give timely feedback to internal departments.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

The position reports to the Director-IPT & Mobility and work with him closely to ensure profitable growth is achieved.

QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

Ø Graduate / Diploma holder with MBA in Marketing

Ø 15-20 years of experience in Industrial Aftermarket, out of which 5 years should be from handling Aftermarket sales on PAN INDIA level.

Ø Age Limit: 35-40 Years max.

Ø Proven skills in Sales Planning, Meeting Sales Goals, Distributor Management & Managing Profitability

Ø Leader in customer service – professional approach to internal/ external clients

Ø Ability to meet deadlines and demonstrates effective time management skills

Ø Excellent business ethics and integrity

Ø Strong team player, proactively able to step in to support other team members as needed and share knowledge to allow cross training of all functions, builds collaborative relationships.

Ø Self-directed and motivated with insight and ideas to motivate sales teams

Ø Proven work experience as a National sales manager

Ø Experience managing a high performance sales team

Ø Knowledge of CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite

Ø An ability to understand and analyze sales performance metrics

Ø Solid customer service attitude with excellent negotiation skills

Ø Strong communication and team management skills

Ø Analytical skills with a problem-solving attitude

Ø Availability to travel as needed

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

  • Fair amount (approx. 40 ~ 60%) of domestic travel is required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹3,000,000.00 - ₹5,000,000.00 per year
