At PwC - AC, as a COBOL Modernization Director, you will serve as a strategic leader responsible for both sales pursuits and delivery management of large-scale modernization engagements. You will lead clients through critical decisions on modernization approach and strategy, developing comprehensive modernization roadmaps and business cases. You should have strong experience in modernization strategy, program management, and client relationship development, along with strong leadership and business acumen. You will drive business development initiatives while ensuring successful delivery of complex modernization programs and will monitor multiple engagements to ensure that all business goals and client expectations are exceeded.

Required Skills
- Extensive experience in legacy system modernization with deep understanding of COBOL and mainframe/midrange ecosystems
- Expert knowledge of modernization strategies and ability to guide clients through approach selection (6Rs framework)
- Strong business acumen with experience in sales pursuits, proposal development, and deal structuring
- Proven track record in delivery management of large-scale, complex modernization programs
- Comprehensive knowledge of legacy database and storage technologies including DB2, IMS, and VSAM
- Deep understanding of both mainframe (z/OS, CICS, IMS, JCL) and midrange (AS/400, iSeries, RPG) platforms
- Strategic vision for cloud-first modernization leveraging AWS, Azure, and GCP platforms
