Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Android Mobile App Developer to design, develop, test, and maintain high-quality Android applications. The ideal candidate should have strong problem-solving skills, a passion for mobile technologies, and the ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop advanced applications for the Android platform
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers, product managers, and backend developers
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code
• Integrate APIs, third-party libraries, and cloud services
• Ensure application performance, security, and scalability
• Debug and fix issues across different Android devices and OS versions
• Perform unit testing and implement best coding practices
• Stay updated with emerging mobile technologies and Android trends

Required Skills & Qualifications

1. Technical Skills

• Strong knowledge of swift or Kotlin
• Experience with Android SDK, Android Studio, and Gradle
• Understanding of MVVM / MVP / MVC architecture
• Experience with RESTful APIs and JSON
• Familiarity with Firebase, push notifications, and cloud services
• Knowledge of SQLite / Room / other local databases
• Experience with Git or other version control systems
• Understanding of Android UI components and Material Design guidelines

2. Preferred Skills (Good to Have)

• Experience with Jetpack Compose
• Knowledge of app publishing on Google Play Store
• Experience with performance optimization and security best practices
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (preferred)
• Up-to 1 year of experience in Android app development (can vary based on role level)
