Job Description

Position Title: MIS Executive Sales

Department: Sales

Location: Chennai

Reporting To: Sales Manager / Head Sales & Marketing

Roles & Responsibilities

1. Sales Data Management

  • Collect, validate, and maintain sales data from field teams and distributors.
  • Track daily, weekly, and monthly sales performance against targets.
  • Ensure accuracy and timeliness of sales entries in Microsoft Dynamics CRM/ERP and other MIS systems.

2. Reporting & Analysis

  • Prepare daily/weekly/monthly MIS reports on sales performance.
  • Generate region-wise, product-wise, and channel-wise sales analysis.
  • Provide insights on sales trends, growth opportunities, and variances using Microsoft Dynamics dashboards and reports.

3. Target & Incentive Tracking

  • Track achievement of sales targets across zones/branches.
  • Maintain records of sales incentive eligibility and payouts.
  • Support Sales Managers with performance dashboards for review.

4. Coordination & Support

  • Liaise with the sales team, distributors, and finance for data updates.
  • Support management in preparing presentations and performance reviews.
  • Act as a point of contact for sales-related MIS queries.

5. Process Improvement

  • Automate recurring reports and dashboards in Microsoft Dynamics and Excel.
  • Recommend improvements in reporting formats and data collection processes.
  • Ensure data integrity and confidentiality.

Key Skills & Competencies

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Dynamics (CRM/ERP), MS Excel (Pivot, VLOOKUP, Advanced Formulas), and PowerPoint.
  • Knowledge of other ERP/CRM systems (SAP, Salesforce, Oracle) is an added advantage.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication and coordination abilities.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in reporting.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelors Degree in Commerce, Business Administration, Statistics, or related field.
  • 4-7 years of experience in MIS/Reporting, preferably in Sales/Distribution domain.
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics for sales reporting and analytics is mandatory.
  • Prior experience in FMCG, beverages, or consumer goods industry will be an added advantage.
