Work with engineering and production teams to understand what materials are needed. Check that materials meet quality and technical requirements. Keep track of orders, deliveries, and inventory. Maintain good relationships with vendors and solve any supply issues. Keep accurate records of purchases and ensure paperwork is complete. Role & responsibilities Preferred candidate profile Key Responsibilities: Laser Cutting & Programming: Supervise laser cutting operations and ensure machines are programmed accurately. Coordinate with programmers to optimize cutting patterns and minimize material waste. Maintain machine performance and troubleshoot issues. Bending Operations: Oversee bending processes to ensure components meet design specifications. Manage bending machine operators and ensure proper machine setup and maintenance. Production Planning: Prepare and manage production schedules to meet delivery deadlines. Coordinate with procurement and warehouse for material availability. Monitor production progress and resolve any bottlenecks or delays. Team Management: Lead and motivate the production team including machine operators and programmers. Train team members on safety and quality standards. Quality & Safety: Ensure all products meet quality standards and specifications. Enforce safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment. Reporting: Maintain daily production reports and communicate updates to management. Identify process improvements and cost-saving opportunities. Qualifications & Skills: Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, or related field. 7-11 years experience in stainless steel sheet metal fabrication, including laser cutting, bending, Programming, and production planning. Good knowledge of laser cutting machines, CNC programming, and bending equipment. Strong organizational and leadership skills. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications. Good communication and team management skills. Familiarity with SAP production planning software is a plus.
