Core Responsibilities of MIS Executive:
Gather data with excellent coordination and communication skills
Put the data in a format that is easy to read and making MIS Reports on collated data.
Analyse the data from the point of view of the briefing that has been provided vis a vis the goals of the analysis.
Present data to the management in the language that they understand.
Prepare Monthly, Daily and Weekly report reports.
Knowledge of MIS and Data Management.
Ensure accuracy and timeliness of reports/delivery sent.
Skills and Qualifications for MIS Executive
Technical Skills
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel with efficiency in understanding Macros and other tools.
Strong proficiency in handling multiple projects and multiple tools when it comes to data handling.
Strong proficiency in handling vast amounts of data.
Ability to clean data especially when it comes in multiple formats.
Knowledge of MS Office especially experience in Excel/Advanced Excel. Proficient with Excel Formulas such as Pivot Table, V-lookup, H-lookup, Conditional formatting, Count IF, Sum IF, and other basic formulas, etc.
Knowledge of Power Bi is huge plus
Strong ability to develop mini dashboards for the management as per their requirements.
Strong clarity of thought when it comes to determining what the final output needs to look like.
Ability to understand excel sheets that are prepared by other members.
Ability to deduce what is wrong in an excel sheet.
Communication and Presentation Skills
Ability to communicate at top level on the thought and process behind the analysis.
Must understand and unpack briefing given by different departments and other key stakeholders.
Proven proficiency to clearly communicate numbers to the top management in the exact manner that is being asked.
Ability to swiftly distil large amount of data and present in succinct manner to the top management.
Must think fast under pressure.
Ability to give comprehensive timelines to the management in terms of when data can be presented.
Ability to deliver on timelines as to when data can be presented to the management.
Proficiency to understand requirements of management in terms of how they want the data to be presented.
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
Ability to work in a team environment.
Educational Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in any field.
If not a bachelor’s degree in the above, then a certification and diploma in Statistical Analysis from reputed institution.
