LMS Migration Program Manager

loan management, interest accruals, schedules, repayments, charges, foreclosures, NPA

Migration Squad (BA + Developers + QA)

Key Responsibilities

1. Lead End-to-End LMS Migrations

• Own migration delivery across multiple clients (parallel projects).
  
• Build & execute full migration strategy: extraction mapping transformation validation dry runs cutover post-migration support.
  
• Create data templates, DRE sheets, mapping documents, and reconciliation plans.
  

2. Deep Expertise in Loan Management Systems

• Strong understanding of domains such as:
  
• Loan onboarding, repayment schedules (RPS), amortization
  
• Interest/principal separation, charges, penalties
  
• NPA, write-off, repossession
  
• Co-lending, multi-tranche, foreclosures, bounce logic
  
• Experience working with systems like

  OmniFin, FinnOne, Pennant, AllCloud, Core Banking, Jaguar

  , etc.

3. Customer Communication & Stakeholder Management

• Directly interact with CXOs/CTOs of NBFCs & Fintechs.
  
• Engage in high-level data discussions, lead UAT, and negotiate migration timelines.
  
• Conduct weekly governance calls and present migration progress, risks, and blockers.
  

4. Team Leadership & Execution Ownership

• Lead a team of BAs, developers & QA dedicated to migrations.
  
• Set timelines, track sprints, resolve bottlenecks, and maintain delivery velocity.
  
• Make quick decisions to unblock migrations without external escalation.
  

5. Data Strategy, Validation & Reconciliation

• Ensure 100% accuracy of migrated portfolio including:
  
• Ledger balances
  
• Schedules and outstanding
  
• Transaction history
  
• Security/collateral
  
• NPA/DPD buckets
  
• Work with QA/Data teams to ensure financial correctness and compliance.
  

6. Migration Playbook & Process Improvement

• Standardize migration frameworks for the company.
  
• Improve tools, automation scripts, and reusable mapping templates.
  
• Reduce overall migration cycle time across clients.
  

Required Skills & Qualifications

Mandatory:

• 8–15 years

  total experience with strong exposure to NBFC/Banking/LMS.

• 3–8 years

  hands-on experience in

  LMS migrations

  (any product).
• Strong knowledge of

  loan lifecycle, schedules, interest, foreclosure logic, NPA, DP/OD logic, accounting entries

  .
• Experience with legacy systems like

  FinnOne/Omnifin/Pennant/AllCloud/Jaguar

  .
• Must have handled

  complete end-to-end migration cycles

  .
• Strong SQL/data analysis background.
  
• Exceptional project management and stakeholder communication.
  
• Ability to lead

  cross-functional teams

  and manage tight timelines.
• Comfortable with ambiguity and fast decision-making.
  

Good to Have:

• Experience with

  Apache Fineract, cloud-based LMS

  , or fintech lending.
• Previous role as BA/PM in NBFC/Banking Technology.
  
• Knowledge of collections systems & accounting modules.
  
• Experience handling high-volume portfolios (50k–5 lakh+ loans).
