Project Manager Lending Solutions (LOS, LMS, Collections, Accounting)

About the Role:

• Establish and maintain project governance structures: Steering Committees, PMO processes, and escalation paths.
• Define clear RACI matrices and communication plans across internal and client teams.
• Lead project kick-offs, progress reviews, and executive reporting sessions.
• Manage project scope, timeline, cost, quality, and risk across multiple concurrent implementations.
• Ensure adherence to change control processes and documentation discipline.

Team Management

• Supervise a team of Solution Architects, ensuring effective task allocation, prioritization, and delivery oversight.
• Act as a coach and mentor for architects and analysts to build capability and drive accountability.
• Facilitate collaboration between functional and technical stakeholders across product, development, QA, and support teams.

Client Engagement

• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients during the project lifecycle.
• Build strong relationships with client stakeholders (CXOs, Business Heads, IT).
• Track and communicate project milestones, delays, blockers, and escalation items.
• Facilitate client approvals on design, configuration, testing, and go-live checklists.

Project Execution & Delivery

• Own the master project plantrack deliverables across phases: Discovery, Design, Development, Testing, Training, and Go-Live.
• Ensure alignment of solution design (by Architects) with documented business requirements and compliance standards.
• Drive milestone tracking, risk mitigation, and dependency resolution using tools like

  JIRA, Confluence, MS Project, Excel

• Monitor quality of deliverables, manage resource utilization, and escalate risks proactively.

Process Management & Improvement

• Standardize project templates: BRDs, FSDs, test plans, migration playbooks, cutover checklists, etc.
• Define and refine internal implementation methodologies based on past learnings.
• Collaborate with QA and Support for handover and post-go-live success tracking.
• Conduct retrospectives and maintain a knowledge base of implementation best practices.

Reporting & Communication

• Publish weekly status reports, steering committee decks, and executive summaries.
• Track effort variance, timeline adherence, and change request impact.
• Ensure auditability of deliverables, sign-offs, and project documentation.

Qualifications:

• Education:

  Bachelor's or Master's in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or a related field.

• Experience:

  815 years of experience in IT/Fintech project delivery, with at least 35 years in a leadership role managing solution consultants or architects.
• Proven experience in implementing enterprise lending systems (LOS, LMS, Collections, Accounting).
• Solid understanding of NBFC/HFC operations, RBI guidelines, loan lifecycle, and digital lending platforms.

Required Skills:

• Strong command of project management tools:

  JIRA, Confluence, MS Project, Excel, PowerPoint

• Excellent understanding of SDLC and Agile/Waterfall/Hybrid methodologies.
• Strong stakeholder management, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Hands-on experience in cross-functional team leadership and remote team collaboration.
• Familiarity with integration processes: APIs, Credit Bureaus, KYC, Payment Gateways, etc.

Certifications (Preferred):

• PMP / Prince2 / Certified Scrum Master (CSM)
• ITIL Foundation
• Any Fintech or Lending domain certifications
