Merchandiser

Order Management Communicate with buyers to understand product requirements and order details. Receive and analyze buyer's tech packs/specifications, and coordinate order confirmation. Monitor order processing from development to final shipment. Product Development Coordinate sampling processes (proto, fit, size set, pre-production samples). Work closely with the design team, pattern makers, and production units to ensure buyer requirements are met. Ensure timely submission of samples and approvals (fabrics, trims, print, embroidery, etc.). Material Sourcing & Coordination Source fabrics, trims, accessories, and other raw materials as per buyer specifications. Negotiate with suppliers and vendors for quality materials at competitive prices. Track delivery timelines and ensure materials arrive on time. Production Follow-up Monitor production processes to ensure adherence to quality standards and delivery deadlines. Coordinate with production, quality, and logistics teams to resolve any issues. Maintain production status reports and share updates with buyers regularly. Quality Assurance Work closely with the quality control team to ensure that garments meet buyer expectations. Attend inline and final inspections; ensure all quality parameters are fulfilled. Documentation & Reporting Maintain all order-related documentation: costing sheets, purchase orders, approvals, and communication records. Prepare and submit production tracking and shipment reports to management and clients. Costing & Negotiation Prepare detailed cost sheets for garments including fabric, trims, labor, and overheads. Negotiate prices with buyers and suppliers to ensure profitability. Communication Act as the main point of contact between the buyer and the factory. Maintain clear, professional communication with all stakeholders (buyers, suppliers, production teams). Shipment Coordination Ensure on-time shipment as per buyer’s requirements. Coordinate with logistics and documentation teams for export procedures and documentation (e.g. invoices, packing lists, bills of lading).
