MEP Manager

We are looking for a MEP Manager for the construction company located in Ludhiana

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced MEP Manager to oversee all Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing works from project initiation to completion for plotting and colonization projects. The candidate will be responsible for complete planning, design coordination, execution, testing, and commissioning of all MEP systems while ensuring quality, timelines, and cost efficiency.

Key Roles & Responsibilities:

Planning & Design Phase:

* Review and finalize MEP designs, BOQs, and drawings.

* Coordinate with architects, structural, and civil teams for design integration.

* Plan utility layouts for water supply, drainage, electrical distribution, and street lighting.

* Estimate materials, manpower, and project timelines for MEP works.

Execution Phase:

* Supervise all on-site MEP installations including:

* Electrical systems (transformers, panels, cabling, street lights, etc.)

* Plumbing and drainage systems (water supply, sewer, rainwater, etc.)

* Firefighting, HVAC, and related infrastructure works (if applicable).

* Ensure adherence to design, safety, and quality standards.

* Manage vendors, subcontractors, and labor teams for smooth execution.

* Conduct regular site inspections and progress tracking.

* Maintain daily, weekly, and monthly reports for management review.

Testing & Commissioning:

* Oversee testing, inspection, and commissioning of all MEP systems.

* Verify functional performance and ensure handover documentation.

* Coordinate with utility authorities for connection approvals and inspections.

Operation & Handover:

* Prepare as-built drawings, technical documentation, and maintenance manuals.

* Support project closure and final handover to the client or operations team.

Requirements:

* Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.

* 8–10 years of experience in MEP works related to plotting, townships, or colonization projects.

* Deep knowledge of MEP design, installation, and project management.

* Strong leadership, coordination, and problem-solving skills.

* Ability to handle multiple projects and teams independently.
