Job Title: Head – MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) Experience Required: 15+ years Location: [SURAT] Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced and strategic MEP Head to lead and manage the entire MEP design across multiple projects. The ideal candidate will bring 15+ years of experience in MEP design, coordination, and project delivery, ensuring high standards of safety, efficiency, and compliance across all disciplines (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, Firefighting & ELV and HVAC ) Design Leadership: Lead the development of integrated MEP design solutions from concept to construction stage. Provide technical direction and design approvals across HVAC, Electrical, PHE, Fire Fighting, and ELV systems. Ensure all designs meet client requirements, project goals, statutory regulations, and industry best practices. Review and validate load calculations, HVAC zoning, equipment sizing, electrical power distribution, lighting design, water supply, drainage, fire suppression systems, and ELV design. Key Responsibilities:Strategic Leadership: Lead MEP planning, design, and execution across residential, commercial, and industrial projects. Set strategic direction and goals for the MEP team in alignment with organizational vision. Oversee budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation for MEP services. Lead and mentor a team of MEP design engineers and draftsmen. Conduct design reviews and enforce quality control procedures. Ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance of all design documentation. Technical Oversight: Approve and review MEP designs, shop drawings, technical submittals, and BOQs. Oversee load calculations, equipment sizing, energy efficiency measures, and sustainable system design. Resolve complex site issues and provide value engineering solutions. Team Leadership: Build, mentor, and manage a high-performing MEP engineering team. Conduct technical training and performance evaluations. Present design concepts and solutions to clients, consultants, and project teams. Address client queries, participate in design workshops, and represent the firm in technical discussions. Compliance & Quality: Ensure compliance with national/international codes (NBC, IEC, NFPA, ASHRAE, IS standards). Key Skills & Competencies: Expertise in MEP system design for high-rise, commercial, institutional, and industrial projects. Strong knowledge of Indian and international codes (NBC, ASHRAE, NFPA, IS, IEC). Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit MEP, HAP, Dialux, ETAP, and related design tools. Strong team leadership, communication, and presentation skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively. Required Skills and Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering 15+ years of progressive MEP experience with at least 5 years in a leadership role. Strong technical knowledge in HVAC, Electrical, PHE, Firefighting, and ELV systems. Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit MEP, MS Project/Primavera, and relevant calculation software. Excellent leadership, project management, communication skills. Job Type: Full-time Pay: ₹75,000.00 - ₹120,000.00 per month Schedule: Monday to Friday Work Location: In person
