MEP HEAD

Job Title: MEP Head
Location: Santacruz, Mumbai

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee all MEP (Mechanical, Electrical & Plumbing) design, execution, and maintenance activities across projects.
• Provide technical expertise and guidance during planning, design, and execution stages.
• Review and approve MEP drawings, BOQs, specifications, and vendor submissions.
• Coordinate with architects, consultants, project managers, and contractors to ensure seamless integration of MEP services.
• Ensure adherence to quality, safety, statutory, and environmental standards.
• Monitor project budgets, timelines, and progress specific to MEP works.
• Conduct regular site inspections to resolve technical issues and ensure timely delivery.
• Evaluate and approve vendors, materials, and technologies for efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
• Lead and mentor the MEP team to achieve organizational goals.
• Stay updated with latest industry trends, codes, and sustainable practices in MEP systems.

Required Qualifications/Skills

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering (Master’s preferred).
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Firefighting, and ELV systems.
• Excellent project management, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Project, and other relevant design/project tools.
• Strong negotiation, vendor management, and cost-control skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Certification in Project Management (PMP/PRINCE2) or equivalent.
• Experience in large-scale real estate / commercial / residential projects.
• Knowledge of green building systems and sustainable technologies.

Experience Required

• Minimum 15+ years of relevant experience in MEP works.
• At least 5+ years in a leadership role heading MEP functions for major real estate/construction projects.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹80,000.00 per month
