Mechatronics Design Engineer

is PURPOSE

To assist in the design, development, and testing of robotic systems and subsystems, focusing on foundational tasks and documentation.

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES

Design Assistance

Create detailed CAD models and schematics for robotic components. Support the development and testing of robotic systems and prototypes. Modify and optimize designs based on testing outcomes and feedback. Technical Support

Assist in debugging and troubleshooting during system development. Document design parameters, testing results, and project updates. Learning and Collaboration

Work under the guidance of senior engineers to gain hands-on experience in mechatronics. Actively participate in team discussions and project reviews.

Work Experience , Knowledge & skills

BE / B.Tech or Master's Degree in Electronics or Mechatronics Engineering

1-3 years of experience or internships in robotics or mechatronics development.

Some level of experience with industrial methodologies & standards such as Design Thinking, Kanban, Kaizen, Just in Time, knowledge of quality control methodologies such as Six sigma etc.

Strong verbal and written technical communication & presentation skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Prior technical experience & skills desired:

Designing & building circuits/circuit boards using electronic components/sensors/switches/ICs using soldering/bonding equipment.

Should have experience of testing and debugging circuits using CRO, Digital multimeters, etc.

Working knowledge of DC electronics & power electronics.

Hands on experience of integrating devices such as sensors, actuators, loT devices, microcontrollers, drivers, industrial controllers, various types of motors, actuators, switches, ICs, etc. & developing working software to run the integrated HW system.

Should be familiar with circuit simulation software such as MATLAB Simulink Mechatronics package or equivalent

Should have hands-on experience with C/C++, Java, Python. Knowledge of assembler-level coding good to have. Knowledge of Ladder programming is good to have.

Knowledge of ROS (Robot Operating System), Gazebo required.

Hands on experience with sensors (Lidar, IR/ultrasonic range, tilt, encoders, GPS, etc.), loT devices, and motors (servo, stepper, DC) required. Experience of integrating sensors & actuators with microcontroller is required. Communication protocols - CANBUS, TCP/IP, RS232, etc. required.

Pay: ₹400,000.00 - ₹1,200,000.00 per year
