Job Description

Job Title: Mechanical Engineer - Data Entry Operator

Location: Sikandra, Agra

Employment Type: Full-Time


Salary Range: 15000-25000 per month

Key Responsibilities

  • ERP Data Management:

    Accurately input and verify production information (such as performance metrics, inventory details, and Bills of Materials - BOM) into ERP platforms like SAP; generate and maintain BOMs in ERP for product assemblies and configurations; create reports to aid in production planning and performance evaluation.

  • Shop Floor Coordination:

    Serve as a bridge between various teams to address challenges, drive enhancements, and align activities with technical requirements; organize discussions and perform issue resolution.

  • Shop Floor Oversight:

    Oversee on-site activities to uphold safety measures, quality benchmarks, and production goals; incorporate lean methodologies, evaluate equipment, and guide team members.

  • Additional Duties:

    Contribute to ongoing enhancement programs (e.g., Kaizen or Six Sigma), update process records, and promote adherence to standards (e.g., ISO and HSE regulations).


Qualifications

  • Education:

    Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or an equivalent discipline.

  • Experience:

    2-3 years in a manufacturing setting, focusing on ERP data handling and shop floor management; prior involvement in mechanical design or assembly is advantageous.

  • Skills:

    Expertise in ERP tools, Microsoft Excel, and CAD applications (e.g., AutoCAD); familiarity with production techniques (e.g., CNC machining, welding); excellent problem-solving, interpersonal, and multitasking abilities.
