We’re assembling a fresh team to build the first truly viable version of our robot — and we’re looking for someone who’s not just skilled, but hungry to build something original from the ground up.

What You’ll Do

You’ll lead and shape the mechanical foundation of our robotic platform — from blank-page design to testable prototypes.

Responsibilities

Design mechanical assemblies using CAD (Fusion 360 / SolidWorks).

Explore new forms of mobility and adhesion — grounded in physics, tested in reality.

Integrate pneumatic systems for movement, adaptation, or gripping.

Run FEA simulations and validate them through physical iteration.

Rapid prototype using 3D printing, machining, composites, etc.

Work alongside embedded, AI, and systems engineers as a core member.

Translate experimental insights into practical design evolution.

Document your work with clarity for repeatability and team handoff.

What We’re Looking For

Must-Have:

B.Tech/B.E. in Mechanical/Mechatronics/Robotics or related field.

Strong grasp of CAD design and real-world mechanical constraints.

Experience in prototyping, iteration, and working with your hands.

Understanding of actuation systems — especially pneumatic/hybrid.

Simulation and structural analysis (FEA) familiarity.

Self-directed, curious, and unfazed by ambiguity or failure.

Bonus If You Have:

Experience designing climbing or terrain-adaptive mechanisms.

Built something unusual or outside curriculum — hackathons, personal projects, etc.

Exposure to real-world field conditions (and their messiness).

Multidisciplinary comfort — can collaborate fluidly with non-mechanical teams.
