Master Lab Technician
to lead lab activities in our R&D laboratory. With over 12 years of relevant experience, the ideal candidate will serve as the
go-to authority
for all technical lab activities—ranging from precision soldering and rework, to test setup management, environmental control, calibration, and lab infrastructure governance. This leadership role demands deep technical knowledge, operational discipline, and a proactive, mentorship-oriented approach.
Requirements/Qualifications
- Own and oversee all lab operations including setup, maintenance, safety, documentation, and scheduling.
- Perform and supervise advanced soldering, rework, and board-level modifications, including BGA, QFN, and fine-pitch SMT components.
- Lead calibration schedules, certification tracking, and preventive maintenance for lab instruments (oscilloscopes, analyzers, thermal chambers, etc.).
- Ensure stringent ESD compliance, cleanliness, and temperature/humidity control per R&D and reliability requirements.
- Define and enforce best practices for component storage, inventory control, labeling, and asset traceability.
- Collaborate closely with R&D engineers to execute test plans, prototype evaluations, and debug support.
- Establish and refine standard operating procedures (SOPs) for lab workflows, safety, and compliance.
