Manufacturing Operations Manager

The Manufacturing Plant Supervisor at Akriti Ophthalmic Pvt Ltd will oversee daily production operations, ensuring efficiency, quality, and compliance with industry standards. This role requires expertise in ophthalmic product manufacturing, including porous polyethylene implants, amniotic membrane applications, and advanced wound care solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in medical device production, process optimization, and team leadership. Key Responsibilities: Production Oversight: Supervise manufacturing processes for ophthalmic implants, amniotic tissue products, and wound care solutions. Quality Assurance: Ensure adherence to ISO and GMP standards, conducting inspections and audits to maintain product integrity. Process Optimization: Implement improvements in material handling, sterilization, and packaging to enhance efficiency. Safety & Compliance: Enforce workplace safety protocols and regulatory compliance for biocompatible materials. Inventory & Supply Chain Management: Monitor raw material usage, coordinate procurement, and minimize waste. Team Leadership: Train and mentor production staff, fostering a culture of precision and innovation. Technical Troubleshooting: Address manufacturing challenges related to polyethylene implants, amniotic membranes, and ophthalmic devices. Documentation & Reporting: Maintain detailed records of production metrics, compliance reports, and operational improvements. Qualifications & Skills: Experience: Minimum 5 years in medical device manufacturing, preferably in ophthalmic or regenerative medicine. Education: Degree in Biomedical Engineering, Manufacturing Technology, or related fields. Technical Expertise: Knowledge of porous polyethylene processing, amniotic membrane handling, and sterile packaging. Leadership & Communication: Strong ability to manage teams, coordinate with R&D, and ensure seamless production workflows.
