Manager/Sr. Manager- IT Infrastructure

As the Manager/Sr. Manager-IT Infrastructure, your role is to lead and manage the COE IT resources, including the Network Operating Center. You will oversee the development, implementation, and maintenance of IT systems and services, manage IT staff, and drive technological innovations. Working closely with other departments, you will support business objectives and improve efficiencies through technology solutions. Additionally, you will be responsible for optimizing the organization's use of the AWS cloud platform to ensure secure and efficient cloud infrastructure, networking, and operations. **Key Responsibilities:** - Recommend and execute the organization's IT strategy to align with business goals under the guidance of corporate management. - Provide direction for IT initiatives that support organizational growth, efficiency, and innovation. - Leverage cloud technologies, particularly AWS, to enhance infrastructure scalability, security, and performance. - Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to identify opportunities for innovation both on-premise and in cloud environments. - Oversee the management of COE IT infrastructure, including on-premise networks, servers, software, databases, and hardware. - Ensure stability, security, and efficiency of IT systems, with a focus on integrating cloud services within AWS. - Implement and maintain cloud-hosted services and applications, optimizing AWS services such as EC2, S3, and RDS for reliability and cost-effectiveness. - Develop and implement disaster recovery plans and business continuity strategies, utilizing AWS tools like AWS Backup and AWS Disaster Recovery. - Ensure the security of IT systems and data, following guidance from the VP of Cyber Security. - Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments across cloud and on-premise environments. - Stay informed on relevant regulations (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA) and ensure compliance with all IT-related legal and regulatory requirements. - Lead major IT projects, including system upgrades, integrations, and implementations, in both cloud and on-premise environments. - Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, define project scope, and ensure successful delivery. - Track project progress, manage risks, and resolve issues to meet deadlines and deliver value. - Work closely with leadership and department heads to understand business needs and provide technology solutions. - Foster strong relationships with external partners, including cloud service providers, vendors, and consultants. - Present IT strategies and solutions, including AWS-based initiatives, to the executive team and board members. **Qualifications Required:** - Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field. - 12+ years of experience in IT leadership roles, with a proven track record of managing technology operations. - Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, cloud computing, cybersecurity, and software development. - Exposure to Cloud Infrastructure, Networking & Security, particularly AWS. - Experience leading large-scale IT projects and digital transformation initiatives. - Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills. - Certifications such as PMP, ITIL, CISSP, or CISM are a plus. In addition, you will lead, mentor, and manage IT staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment. You will define roles, responsibilities, and expectations for team members while overseeing their training and development. Collaboration with HR on recruitment, retention, and performance management of IT personnel is essential.
