Job Description

Draft technical memos on complex accounting issues, including new or intricate transactions under IFRS/Ind AS.
Review and interpret technical updates and developments in accounting standards.
Prepare accounting and disclosure checklists and provide insights for financial statements.
Drive implementation of accounting and reporting changes, including new standards (IFRS/Ind AS) and Companies Act provisions.
Analyze and recommend reporting best practices based on industry benchmarks.

Key Responsibilities:

Possess strong knowledge of closing and consolidation processes, with a solid understanding of IFRS.
Ensure accurate and timely preparation of financial statements, adhering to accounting standards, company policies, and internal processes.
Influence and guide colleagues who do not directly report to you to achieve high-quality outputs and meet KRAs.
Stay abreast of evolving accounting methodologies across industries, especially in telecom.
Maintain a balance between business requirements and control aspects, supporting operational teams while ensuring strong financial governance.
