Job Description

We are looking for a proactive and resourceful

Sales Development Representative (SDR)

to drive top-of-the-funnel pipeline growth for our sales team in the India region. You will be responsible for identifying, qualifying, and nurturing leads through a structured outreach process. This role is the engine that fuels the business development engine and acts as the first point of contact between potential clients and our company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Generation & Prospecting
  • Research, identify, and create a strong pipeline of potential B2B clients across relevant industries.
  • Leverage tools such as LinkedIn, and other databases to build prospect lists.
  • Conduct outbound outreach via cold emails, calls, social media, and other channels.
  • Lead Qualification
  • Engage with prospects to understand their pain points and initial fit for our solutions.
  • Qualify inbound and outbound leads using defined frameworks (e.g., BANT).
  • Schedule meetings/demos for the Business Development Manager or senior sales team.
  • CRM & Reporting
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of all lead interactions in the CRM.
  • Provide weekly reports on outreach activity, lead progress, and conversion metrics.
  • Collaboration
  • Work closely with the BDM to align on priority sectors, target accounts, and outreach strategy.
  • Collaborate with marketing for campaign execution and feedback loops.
  • Provide market and prospect insights to refine messaging and targeting.

Requirements:

  • 5–10 years of experience in a similar SDR/Inside Sales/Pre-Sales role, preferably in B2B SaaS or enterprise solutions.
  • Strong preference for people having experience in Supply Chain technology industry specifically in Warehousing and Transportation
  • Strong communication and written skills – clarity, persuasion, and professionalism are a must.
  • Self-starter attitude with a structured and target-driven approach to outreach.
  • Familiarity with CRM tools will be helpful and LinkedIn prospecting tools.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
  • Exposure to supply chain, logistics tech, SaaS, or B2B tech products is a plus.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-growth environment and take initiative.
