Role Overview

This role designs and develops high-quality, industry-aligned curriculum and learning content for emerging digital and technology roles, including Software Development, Full Stack Java, Big Data, AI, ML and Generative AI. The SME creates structured, learner-friendly materials, interactive modules and assessments that translate industry needs into practical, job-ready training solutions, enable trainers, and ensure learners are workplace-ready for roles in GCCs, School of AI programmes and key client engagements.

Key Deliverables

• Own the end-to-end content lifecycle for multiple tech tracks (Full Stack Java, Big Data, AI/ML, Generative AI, Cloud-native, DevOps), covering curricula, learning paths, projects, assessments and trainer/participant materials.
• Translate emerging industry trends—especially from GCCs and AI-driven product development—into relevant, job-ready training programmes.
• Apply instructional design best practices to create practical, learner-centric modules with real-world cases, hands-on labs and active learning methods.
• Develop capstone projects and transaction-based scenarios to strengthen problem-solving and pattern recognition skills.
• Conduct train-the-trainer sessions to enable facilitators, ensure delivery quality and build internal capability.
• Monitor programme delivery, review learner/trainer/client feedback and iterate content for continuous improvement.
• Work with LMS and instructional technology teams to upload, structure and maintain content while ensuring tracking of learning progress and certification readiness.
• Support business development conversations as a subject-matter expert when required.
• Stay up to date on emerging technologies (Generative AI, MLOps, cloud engineering) and proactively recommend enhancements or new programme streams.

Job Responsibilities

1. Content Development - Create original, job-ready learning material on:

• Full Stack Development: HTML, CSS, JS/ES6/TypeScript, React/Angular, Core Java, Spring Boot, Hibernate, Microservices, SQL, DevOps.
• Data & AI: Python, Data Science, Big Data, Spark, ML, Deep Learning, Generative AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Gemini, Midjourney).
• Design assessments, projects and case studies that mirror real workplace scenarios.
• Use instructional design frameworks (ADDIE, Bloom’s Taxonomy) to build structured, engaging, outcome-focused content.

Trainer Enablement

• Run Train-the-Trainer programs to build depth in course content and delivery.
• Audit, certify, and continuously coach trainers on content accuracy and learner engagement.

Collaboration & Governance

• Partner with L&D, Project Managers and BU Heads to align content with client and business requirements.
• Work with LMS teams to upload, organise and maintain courses.
• Track progress and maintain documentation using tools such as Asana and ELITE.

Expected Skills & Competencies

• Education: BE/B.Tech, MCA, M.Tech or equivalent in Computer Science, IT or related field.
• Experience: 6–10+ years in software development, data engineering, AI/ML, full-stack or related digital technology roles; experience in curriculum/training design is a strong plus.

Technical Expertise: Demonstrated strength in one or more of:

• Full Stack Java (Core Java, Spring Boot, Hibernate, Microservices, front-end frameworks)
• Big Data / Data Engineering (Hadoop/Spark, Python/Java, data pipelines, ETL)
• AI/ML, Deep Learning, Generative AI (LLMs, transformers, model deployment, MLOps)
• Cloud-native & DevOps (AWS/Azure/GCP, CI/CD, containers, orchestration)
