TANFAC is engaged in the manufacture of Anhydrous Hydrofluoric acid, Sulphuric Acid, Oleum. Aluminium Fluoride, Potassium Fluoride, Potassium Bifluoride, Boron Trifluoride Complexes, Calcium Sulphate (Gypsum), IsoButyl Acetophenone, Acetic Acid, Peracetic Acid and Poly Aluminium Chloride, etc. Job brief: We are looking for a reliable Logistics Manager to be responsible for the overall supply chain management. Logistics Manager responsibilities include organizing and monitoring storage and despatches of goods. The goal is to manage the entire order cycle so as to enhance business development and ensure sustainability and customer satisfaction. Educational Qualification : MBA in Business Administration, Logistics or Supply Chain Management Experience : 15 to 20 Years TCTC : 24 to 30 Lakhs Per Annum Location : Cuddalore, Tamil Nadu Industry Preference : Chemical Manufacturing Responsibilities: Strategically plan manage and execute logistics, warehouse, transportation and customer services Ensure timely delivery of Products to Customers Direct, optimize and coordinate full order cycle Liaise and negotiate with Transporters, Shipping Agents, CHAs and Contractors Keep track of quality, quantity, stock levels, delivery times, transport costs and efficiency Ensure compliance with Dangerous Goods shipments to Indian Central Motor Vehicle Act and IMDG / IATA Dangerous Goods Regulations. Supervise and Organise Packing and shipments according to DGR Standards. Prepare Dangerous Goods Labels & Declarations in accordance with the IATA DGR Standards. Negotiate for a most efficient and cost-effective despatch of goods Should have sound knowledge and working experience on SAP and other Sales related commercial aspects. Oversee Storage, catalog goods, plan routes and process shipments Resolve any arising problems or complaints Supervise, coach and train logistics workforce. Guide and assist the team members on DG Rules and Regulations, minimum/maximum quantities. Meet cost, productivity, accuracy and timeliness targets Maintain metrics and analyze data to assess performance and implement improvements Comply with laws, regulations and ISO requirements Requirements and skills: Proven working experience as a Logistics Manager Record of successful Sales and logistics management Demonstrable ability to lead and manage staff Proficient in SAP, Sales related commercials and MS Office tools. Excellent analytical, problem solving, communication and organisational skills Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects MBA in Business Administration, Logistics or Supply Chain Can do Attitude with a Good Leadership and Communication Skill Should have a good appetite for problem solving and Achievement orientation.
