POSITION/ ROLE

Manager, Sales Training, Voltas Sales Academy, Mumbai

OBJECTIVE

This role is responsible for developing and implementing training strategies that enhance the effectiveness of the sales team. This role ensures that sales professionals have the skills, knowledge, and tools to achieve business objectives and deliver superior customer experiences.

KEY DELIVERABLES

  • Training Strategy & Planning
  • Partner & collaborate with sales leaders, and HR partners to identify training needs and plan execution of training
  • Design and execute a comprehensive sales training roadmap & certification aligned to business.
  • Develop certification programs and continuous learning for existing teams and new hires.
  • Recommend and plan for training budgets and budget control
  • Plan and execute calendars for training and certifications.
  • Content Development & Assessment
  • Create and update training material, assessment for certification
  • Oversee development of design document, content for training & certification
  • Develop training solutions to address business needs
  • Leverage digital assets & AI platforms to create & deliver training and assessment
  • Delivery & Facilitation
  • Conduct classroom, virtual, and field training sessions.
  • Evaluate training partners and trainers basis training need etc.
  • Conduct train the trainer and enhance training capability
  • Performance Coaching
  • Track training effectiveness and certifications
  • Prepare reports and dashboards for leadership.
  • Use data to recommend right solutions
  • Stakeholder Collaboration
  • Work closely with Sales, HR, Marketing, Product & other teams to ensure alignment of messaging and objectives.
  • Continuous Improvement
  • Stay updated on industry trends and integrate best practices into training programs.

Essential Attributes

  • Domain Knowledge
  • Anyone with sales experience and open to learning training and develop people
  • Anyone with HR and or Business acumen role, ready to learn sales / selling by working on field for min 6 months & has a passion to learn training and develop people
  • Excellent communication, Excel & analytical skills, create presentation & report writing skills
  • Adapts to digital and AI tools
  • Enjoys working with people and learn to conduct training programs
  • Open to learning and being resilient
  • Has a Growth mindset, takes ownership and can collaborate well to execute
  • Ready to travel extensively basis business need
