Job Description

The Manager oversees daily hotel operations to ensure exceptional guest experiences, efficient staff management, and strong financial performance. This role is responsible for maintaining high service standards, optimizing occupancy rates, and ensuring compliance with all operational, safety, and brand guidelines.

Key Responsibilities1. Operations Management

  • Oversee day-to-day operations across all departments (Front Office, Housekeeping, F&B, Maintenance, Security).
  • Ensure smooth check-in/check-out processes and efficient guest services.
  • Implement and monitor standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Ensure property cleanliness, maintenance, and safety standards are met.

2. Guest Experience

  • Maintain high levels of guest satisfaction; respond promptly to complaints and feedback.
  • Monitor guest reviews and coordinate improvements.
  • Build strong relationships with VIP guests and corporate clients.

3. Staff Leadership & Training

  • Recruit, train, supervise, and evaluate staff.
  • Schedule staff effectively to maintain service quality and control labor costs.
  • Conduct regular team meetings and enforce performance expectations.

4. Financial & Revenue Management

  • Assist in budget planning and cost control.
  • Monitor occupancy rates, ADR, RevPAR, and other performance metrics.
  • Coordinate with revenue management team on pricing strategies and sales promotions.
  • Approve expenditures and monitor financial reports.

5. Compliance & Safety

  • Ensure compliance with local laws, health and safety regulations, and brand policies.
  • Oversee emergency procedures and staff training.
  • Ensure security protocols for guests, employees, and assets.

6. Marketing & Sales Support

  • Support sales and marketing initiatives to promote the hotel.
  • Build partnerships with travel agents, corporates, and local businesses.
  • Participate in community and industry events to enhance brand visibility.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management or related field (preferred).
  • Proven experience as a Hotel Manager or Assistant Manager (X+ years).
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of hotel management software (PMS), POS, and Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
  • Excellent customer service orientation.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹85,000.00 - ₹120,000.00 per year
