A proactive and detail-oriented Manager Commercial API Sourcing and Regulatory Compliance to support the sourcing and vendor development of new APIs and molecules for our greenfield pharmaceutical manufacturing unit at Venus Industrial Park The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in API procurement vendor interaction and regulatory documentation handling This role is instrumental in ensuring timely and compliant sourcing of APIs for R and D scale up and commercial production stages This position reports directly to the Deputy General Manager Commercial API Sourcing and Regulatory Compliance and will work closely under their guidance to execute sourcing strategies and ensure alignment with regulatory and operational goals.

New vendor Development, API Sourcing
Key Responsibilities:  API Sourcing & Procurement Coordination • Identify potential vendorss for APIs required in new product development. • Coordinate with R&D and formulation teams to understand project-specific API needs. • Float RFQs, collect quotations, conduct technical and commercial comparisons, and finalize proposals in consultation with the DGM. • Vendor Communication & Management • Liaise with domestic and international API vendorss for quotations, regulatory documents, and delivery timelines. • Support in the evaluation and onboarding of new vendors, including coordinating audits and documentation. • Track vendors performance with respect to quality, service levels, and responsiveness.  Regulatory Documentation Handling • Collect, verify, and maintain regulatory documents such as DMFs, CEPs, GMP certificates, stability data, and CoAs. • Collaborate with the RA and QA teams to ensure documentation meets compliance requirements for filings and audits.  Cost and Market Analysis • Monitor API pricing trends, raw material availability and lead times. • Assist in negotiations to achieve cost-effective sourcing while ensuring quality and compliance. • Update internal databases on vendors capabilities, prices, and delivery performance.  Compliance & Internal Coordination • Ensure adherence to procurement SOPs, regulatory standards, and ethical sourcing policies. • Support the DGM in preparing sourcing status reports, audit documents, and risk assessments. • Coordinate with Legal, QA, and CQRA departments for contract finalization and documentation closure.
