Procurement & Supply chain Manager

You will play a critical role in developing strategies, fostering supplier relationships and optimising product assortments to secure unbeatable deals & help sales teams win more clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a comprehensive strategy for the assigned product category to achieve sales, margin, and market share targets for the Corporate Gifting ( Physical + Digital) business line. 
• Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and risks.
• Create and maintain a category business plan, including forecasting, pricing strategies, and promotional activities.
• Define and manage the product assortment, ensuring it aligns with customer needs and market trends.
• Collaborate with suppliers to source and select products that enhance the category’s value proposition.
• Optimize pricing, inventory levels, and shelf placement to maximize sales and profitability.
• Negotiate terms and contracts with suppliers, including pricing, delivery schedules, and service agreements.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers to ensure a reliable supply chain.
• Monitor supplier performance and resolve issues related to quality, delivery, or compliance.
• Work closely with marketing teams to develop and execute category-specific promotions and campaigns.
• Partner with sales teams to align category initiatives with customer requirements.
• Collaborate with operations and supply chain teams to ensure optimal stock levels and distribution efficiency.
• Monitor category performance metrics, including sales, profitability, inventory turnover, and customer satisfaction.
• Conduct post-campaign analysis to measure effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
• Prepare and present regular reports and insights to senior management.
• Manage the entire supply chain & QC.

Key Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, or a related field. A master’s degree is a plus.
• 3–5 years of experience in Procurement, category management, merchandising, or a related role, preferably in the Corporate Gifting industry.
• Proven ability to manage complex product portfolios and deliver results.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
• Proficiency in category management tools and software 
• Strategic thinker with the ability to develop long-term plans and adapt to changing market conditions.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and project management abilities.
• Knowledge of consumer behaviour, market trends & dynamics.
