Job Summary
The Quality Manager is responsible for developing and executing quality assurance strategies, driving process improvement initiatives, conducting audits, and ensuring adherence to SOPs, compliance standards, and SLAs across operational teams. This role serves as a key link between operations and senior leadership to foster a culture of continuous improvement and performance excellence.
Key Responsibilities & Duties
Quality Assurance & Audit Management
- Design, implement, and monitor audit plans across key verticals/functions.
- Ensure 100% audit coverage as per SLA and report findings to stakeholders with RCA and CAPA.
- Analyze audit trends, identify recurring errors, and lead quality improvement initiatives.
- Review and maintain updated SOPs, workflows, and quality frameworks.
Process Excellence & Improvement
- Drive Lean, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement projects to eliminate defects and reduce variation.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to improve process efficiency and reduce operational risk.
- Track and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and quality metrics.
Stakeholder Management
- Collaborate with Operations, Training, HR, and Compliance teams to ensure alignment on quality objectives.
- Prepare and present quality dashboards and monthly business reviews (MBRs) to leadership and clients.
- Handle escalations, RCA reporting, and provide insights for strategic decision-making.
Team & People Management
- Lead, coach, and mentor a team of quality analysts/auditors across multiple functions or clients.
- Drive knowledge management and upskilling of the team through training and workshops.
Qualification/Experience
- 2–3 years of experience in Quality/Process Excellence roles, with at least 2+ years in a managerial capacity.
- Experience in working with US healthcare processes (AR, Charge, Coding, etc.)
- Familiarity with audit tools, quality dashboards, and compliance frameworks.
- Exposure to client-facing roles and external audit management.
- Graduate/Postgraduate in any discipline (Healthcare/Operations preferred).
- Six Sigma Green Belt (Black Belt preferred).
