Job Title: Knowledge Management Center of Excellence (CoE) Lead

Role Purpose:

We are seeking a seasoned Knowledge Management Leader with 1015 years of experience in the CPG/Process industry, who can drive the strategic development and execution of a global Knowledge Management CoE. The leader will partner with Global Process and Capability Owners, business units, operating/functional leaders, subject matter authorities (SMEs), L&D, HR and other partners to build, deploy and drive knowledge management processes and practices. This role is pivotal in enabling, developing and implementingknowledge management strategies to enhance the organization's operational efficiency and innovation.

Strategic Leadership

  • Develop and implement an extensive knowledge management strategy aligned with Diageo's business objectives.
  • Handle and maintain the enterprise-wide process taxonomy and documentation standards using technology applications and platforms.
  • Champion the adoption and integration of knowledge management tools and platforms to enhance knowledge accessibility, process visibility, and decision-making.
  • Oversee the collection, curation, organization, and maintenance of a centralized, accessible, and accurate knowledge repository.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Digital & Technology, Global Process Owners (GPOs), and Business Excellence to embed knowledge management practices.
  • Develop a knowledge-sharing culture by facilitating collaboration, leading communities of practice, and promoting continuous learning.
  • Strategic partner and organisational change at multiple levels of organizational hierarchy to drive partnership with business units, subject matter authorities), and partners to identify knowledge gaps and ensure content aligns with user need

Process & Technology Integration

  • Oversee the deployment, integration, maintenance of process/knowledge management tools to streamline operations/knowledge management.
  • Ensure standard methodologies in process documentation, standardization, and optimization.
  • Design and deliver training programs to build documentation and knowledge management capabilities across global teams.

Governance & Compliance

  • Establish governance frameworks to ensure compliance with global standards in knowledge management.
  • Establish governance frameworks to ensure consistency, accuracy, and compliance in knowledge assets across markets.
  • Supervise adherence to policies related to data integrity and security.
  • Supervise knowledge management effectiveness through important metrics and analytics, driving continuous improvement and innovation in knowledge practices.

Collaboration & Customer Engagement

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify knowledge gaps and opportunities for improvement.
  • Engage partners at all levels to promote the value of effective knowledge management practices.

Team Development & Leadership

  • Lead a team of knowledge management professionals, providing mentorship and development opportunities.
  • Drive performance through clear objectives, feedback, and recognition.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelors or masters degree in business administration, Information Systems, or related field.
  • 10-15 years of experience in process/knowledge management domains.
  • Experience in knowledge management processes using tools like ARIS/SAP Signavio/Celonis etc.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience leading cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence at all organizational levels.
  • Strong understanding of process principles, documentation standards, and taxonomy frameworks.
  • Experience in leading global KM initiatives and handling knowledge repositories.
  • Analytical attitude with the ability to interpret data and drive insights.
  • Fluent in English; additional languages (e.g., Spanish, Hungarian) are a plus.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Expertise in process modelling standards such as BPMN.
  • Strong analytical skills with an ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
  • Proficiency/certifications in project management methodologies (e.g. PMP/Prince II).
  • Certifications in Lean Six Sigma & Business Process Quality Management
  • Ability to motivate change within large organizations and PROSCI Change Management certification can be an advantage.
