Manager - PPC, Ballabgarh Plant The Production Planning and Control (PPC) Manager is responsible for overseeing the planning, scheduling, and coordination of manufacturing processes to ensure timely production and delivery of goods. This role ensures optimal utilization of resources, adherence to quality standards, and alignment with customer demands and business goals. Key Responsibilities Production Planning: Develop and implement master production schedules based on sales forecasts, customer orders, and inventory levels.Coordinate with sales, procurement, and inventory teams to align production plans with business objectives. Scheduling & Control: Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules.Adjust plans as needed to accommodate changes in demand, supply chain disruptions, or equipment downtime. Resource Management: Ensure optimal utilization of manpower, machinery, and materials.Collaborate with HR and maintenance teams to manage workforce availability and equipment readiness. Inventory & Material Management: Maintain appropriate inventory levels of raw materials, WIP, and finished goods.Coordinate with procurement to ensure timely availability of materials. Process Optimization: Identify bottlenecks and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.Use lean manufacturing and Six Sigma principles where applicable. Reporting & Analysis: Generate regular reports on production performance, capacity utilization, and KPIs.Analyze variances and recommend corrective actions. Compliance & Safety: Ensure adherence to safety, quality, and regulatory standards.Promote a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Management, or related field (MBA preferred).Proven experience in production planning and control in a manufacturing environment.Excellent analytical, organizational, and leadership skills.Familiarity with lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and other process improvement methodologies.
