MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES / ACTIVITIES OF THIS JOB (list not more than 10 items) Process Ownership: Ensuring inventory management processes implementation across Pan India warehouse. Accuracy: Maintaining inventory hygiene through implementation of warehouse management system (WMS) across all warehouses at Pan India level Quality and Productivity: Designing warehouse online storage systems and implement warehouse inventory layout as per the system-based process in accordance with BOOSTA norms, Zoning and bin level consolidation needs to facilitate better productivity and speedy execution of orders. Accounting: Reconciliation of inventory between WMS and ERP system. In case of a mismatch, do the root cause analysis and suggest corrective and preventive actions. Assist the company in space optimization of warehouse space by studying different types of storage systems (e.g., mezzanine, Single and double deep pallet racking, shelving etc and optimize the warehouse layout to maximize space utilization and operational efficiency. Inventory Management: Possess knowledge of inventory control methods, such as cycle counting, stock replenishment techniques and ABC analysis. Understand how to handle different types of inventories (fast moving, slow moving, non-moving etc.). Warehouse Processes: Familiarity with receiving, Putaway, GRN, picking, loading and shipping processes in WMS as well as ERP. Knowledge of order fulfilment methods (e.g., wave picking, SKU wise picking, Customer picking, Batch picking) and strategies to minimize errors and improve productivity. New System implementation: Possess knowledge of new system implementation and integrate with current ERP / Software for smooth Go-Live operation.
