Description
As the Logistics Operations Manager at our company, your role will involve driving the operational excellence of the logistics domain. This includes overseeing international transport, customs procedures, warehouse operations, and domestic transportation. You will be responsible for optimizing distribution networks, implementing continuous improvements, cost efficiencies, and enhancing productivity in logistics operations. **Key Responsibilities:** - Manage import documentation, customs clearance process, and letter of credit processes. - Oversee FTWZ and bonded warehouse operations. - Monitor and improve import/export SLAs. - Manage SLAs related to domestic forward and reverse logistics to enhance service and cost efficiencies. - Supervise third-party vendors such as warehouse, transport, customs brokerage, and packing material suppliers. - Implement end-to-end cold chain and inventory control processes based on industry best practices. - Lead, coach, and develop a team. - Conduct logistics reviews with business teams. - Establish strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders. - Drive logistics automation and optimization tools and processes. **Qualifications:** - Thorough knowledge of import documentation, HSN, customs exemptions, customs clearance, and letter of credit processes. - Familiarity with export and re-export processes. - Exposure to FTWZ and bonded warehouse operations. - Understanding of import/export SLAs to drive improvements. - Knowledge of air and sea international modes. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. - Self-driven, agile, and effective in a matrix organization.
