Manager - Logistics

As a Manager - Logistics, you will oversee and optimize the B2C Logistics division to ensure efficient transportation and delivery of goods to customers. Your key responsibilities will include: - Managing performance, metrics, process improvements, and people in your area. - Monitoring and analyzing delivery performance, closure on open shipments, and reconciliation of open shipments. - Coordinating day-to-day operations such as transportation planning, route optimization, carrier management, and delivery scheduling. - Maintaining and developing KPIs and SLAs, reporting and escalating issues, contributing to process improvements, and evaluating gaps in the process. - Developing strong communication processes to ensure smooth flow of information across external and internal customers. - Leading and motivating a team of logistics coordinators, providing guidance, training, and support. - Ability to pull data from databases for reporting and analysis. Qualifications required for this role: - 5-6+ years of operations leadership experience in a fast-paced distribution/logistics environment. - Masters degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or Business Administration with an engineering background. - Experience with lean management principles, Six Sigma, and working with 3PL logistics partners. - Strong data analysis skills and proficiency in Excel, warehouse management systems, and other relevant technologies. - Sound business judgment, ability to influence others, and strong analytical thinking skills. - Excellent leadership, communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
