Manager – Learning & Development

We are looking for a skilled Learning & Development Manager with 3 to 9 years of experience to lead our learning and development initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in effective learning and development methods, with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Create and execute comprehensive learning strategies and programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge.
• Evaluate individual and organizational development needs to identify areas for improvement.
• Implement various learning methods companywide, including coaching, job-shadowing, and online training.
• Design and deliver e-learning courses, workshops, and other training programs to meet diverse learning needs.
• Assess the success of development plans and help employees maximize learning opportunities.
• Help managers develop their team members through career pathing and provide guidance on talent management.
• Track budgets and negotiate contracts.
• Hire and oversee Training and L&D Specialists, organizing meetings with management before preparing course materials to ensure a detailed understanding of training subjects and processes.
• Continually research methods and techniques in workplace training, staying up to date on industry developments and competitor analysis.
• Collect information from senior management and other departments on employee retention and effectiveness of training courses, administering tests after completion to evaluate training strategies.
• Create printed and instructional materials for distribution during training, actively seeking current training methods and best practices to facilitate training.
• Conduct regular meetings with senior management to identify subjects needing additional instruction and create internal marketing materials to announce training programs and details.

• Proven experience as an L&D Manager, Training Manager, or similar role with a minimum of 3 years of experience.
• Current knowledge of effective learning and development methods, including e-learning platforms and practices.
• Ability to build rapport with employees and vendors, demonstrating excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience analyzing company needs, lesson planning, development, and implementation, coupled with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Familiarity with sales and academic environments, along with experience in product training and walk-in events.
• Strong leadership and management skills, capable of hiring and overseeing Training and L&D Specialists.
• Bachelor's degree in any field; relevant certifications are also acceptable.
