This position is on the Insights & Analytics team that is already 11-people strong, and services clients in India, USA, EMEA, APAC and growing rapidly.

Responsibilities


  • Responsible for hands-on ownership of projects independently – Data extraction, preparation, analysis, validation, delivering results and communicating with stakeholders across stages. This is a hands-on role and not a “managing people only” role.
  • Develop rhythm of business analyses (weekly or monthly or quarterly analysis) for clients to demonstrate the outcomes of PR efforts on the client’s business and communications goals.
  • Analyze online news and social media data using listening and measurement tools that connect to the client’s business needs.
  • Provide analytics support for India clients (as part of a big analytics team) in the Technology, Consumer, Healthcare, Non-Profit sectors.
  • Communication skills – Excellent written and spoken communication skills are critical for success in this role. You will be required to manage client servicing interactions independently (analytics, account, vendors, client teams), and great client servicing communication skills are a must.
  • Data presentation skills – You will leverage your communication and presentation skills to translate data into a compelling story that demonstrates the value of our agency’s work for clients. This will require expressing data and insights in a clear and effective manner for our clients and account teams for whom analytics is not always intuitive. Great PowerPoint skills are a must.
  • Excel Ninja – Excellent Excel skills are make-or-break for this role.
  • An enhanced sense of ownership and responsibility – Drive projects proactively, raise your hand when new projects come in and you have availability, coupled with the freedom and trust within the team to say “no” when availability is limited.
  • Comfortable with fast-paced work (within reason) where you may be solving problems for multiple clients during any given week.
  • Comfortable in working with multiple tools to solve a business problem – You will be given extensive training and access to industry-leading tools to set you up for success while you bring a solution-oriented mindset to problem-solving.
  • Mentorship – Ability to manage and mentor 1-2 direct reports.
  • New business support – They’ll be required to lead the analytics team’s charge for some integrated/multi-team new biz activity (E.g. a new biz pitch from Bisleri for PR, social media and related analytics services). They will

    not

    be required to proactively reach outside the org. or do any cold calling for sales
  • Ability to set clear expectations and manage timelines independently.
  • Follow trends and updates in industry technology related to research, insights, measurement, and analytics.


Preferred Qualifications (not necessary but a bonus if you have them)


  • Bachelor/Masters degree in analytics or quantitative discipline (Mathematics, Data Science, Statistics, Ops Research, or Computer Science), or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
  • Experience in PR/social media/communication analytics or media listening tools like Talkwalker, Meltwater, Signal AI, etc.
