Job Description

- Oversee the maintenance and management of individual customer accounts, ensuring all account information is accurate and up to date.
- Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and internal policies, including AML and KYC guidelines. - Provide high-quality service to customers, addressing their inquiries and resolving any issues related to their accounts. - Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of account maintenance activities. - Lead and train a team of account maintenance professionals, ensuring they are well-equipped to perform their duties. - Work closely with other departments, such as Compliance, IT to ensure seamless account maintenance operations. - Prepare and present reports on account maintenance activities, highlighting key metrics and areas for improvement.
- Comprehensive understanding of general banking operations, account maintenance procedures, and regulatory compliance, including AML and KYC guidelines.
- Familiarity with online banking channels and digital products related to account management. - Proficiency with core banking systems (e.g., Flex Cube), workflows, and digital journeys. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively interact with customers, team members, and stakeholders. - Strong analytical skills to assess account information, identify issues, and implement solutions. - A minimum of 8-12 years of experience in the account opening and maintenance domain, with a focus on AML and retail banking. - Experience in providing high-quality customer service and resolving account-related issues. - Experience in identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Ensure all individual customer accounts are accurately maintained and updated, with a focus on data integrity and compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
- Adhere to AML, KYC and other regulatory guidelines. Ensure all account maintenance activities comply with these standards to mitigate risks. - Provide high-quality service to customers by addressing their inquiries and resolving issues promptly. Aim to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty through efficient account maintenance processes. - Continuously identify and implement improvements in account maintenance processes to increase efficiency and effectiveness. Leverage technology and automation where possible. - Lead, train, and develop a team of account maintenance professionals. Ensure the team is well-equipped to handle their responsibilities and foster a collaborative and productive work environment. - Prepare and present regular reports on account maintenance activities, highlighting key metrics, trends, and areas for improvement. Use data to drive decision-making and strategic planning. - Manage resources effectively to ensure that account maintenance activities are completed within established timelines and service level agreements (SLAs).
