Key Responsibilities


1. International Sales & Market Development


  • Identify, develop, and convert opportunities in international markets for Torchit’s portfolio (assistive technology, AI solutions, education aids, EnableMart products).
  • Manage B2B and institutional sales with distributors, global NGOs, rehabilitation agencies, and impact-driven organisations.
  • Build regional sales strategies for Africa, Middle East, SE Asia, Europe, and North America.



2. International NGO & Institutional Partnerships


  • Develop partnerships with organisations like CBM, Sightsavers, Perkins, UNICEF, WHO disability programs, Rotary International, Lions International, and global disability coalitions.
  • Establish MoUs, collaboration models, pilot programs, and multi-country initiatives.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for global partners and maintain long-term relationships.



3. Global Grants & Funding Opportunities


  • Identify international grant opportunities from UN bodies, philanthropic foundations, multilateral agencies, and development banks.
  • Prepare strong concept notes, proposals, budgets, and partnership documents.
  • Manage submissions, reporting, compliance, and donor communication.



4. International Advocacy & Representation


  • Represent Torchit at expos, summits, disability conferences, global accessibility forums, UN events, and trade missions.
  • Build global presence and promote India’s Made-for-the-World assistive technologies.
  • Map global competitors, assistive tech trends, and policy frameworks.



5. Relationship & Pipeline Management


  • Maintain an international partnership pipeline with regular follow-ups and progress tracking.
  • Coordinate with internal teams (product, sales, operations) for international orders, compliance, packaging norms, and export documentation.
  • Ensure smooth delivery, support, and after-sales coordination for international customers.



6. Strategy & International Expansion


  • Identify new countries for expansion and help develop Torchit’s

    global distributor network

  • Support in setting up international pilots, demonstration centres, and EnableMart experience hubs in key markets.
  • Provide insights on regulatory requirements, certifications, and market-entry strategies.


Key Skills & Competencies


  • Strong experience in international partnerships, institutional sales, or global development sector.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, with ability to engage senior global stakeholders.
  • Experience in grant writing and donor management is a major advantage.
  • Understanding of assistive technology, disability inclusion, or social enterprise ecosystem.
  • Ability to travel internationally when required.
  • Strategic thinker with strong execution capability.


Qualification & Experience


  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Business, Development Studies, International Relations, Public Policy, or similar.
  • 4–10 years of experience in international sales, development sector fundraising, or global partnerships.
  • Experience working with UN agencies, INGOs, or global foundations preferred.
