Job Description

• Key Responsibilities:

 

• Design & Engineering:

  • Expertise in electrical design engineering, including cable sizing, transformer calculations, UPS systems, and related components.

 

• Project Execution:

  • Extensive experience in erection, testing, commissioning, and operation & maintenance of electrical installations such as:
    • 132 KV & 33 KV Switchyards (GIS & AIS)
    • HT/LT Switchgear, Motors, UPS, VFDs, Cables, Lighting systems
  • Ensure compliance with equipment manuals and OEM recommendations.

 

• Utility Equipment Maintenance:

  • Electrical maintenance of critical utility systems including:
    • Air Compressors, Chillers, Air Handling Units, Clean Rooms
    • Water Treatment (DI, Soft Water, Reverse Osmosis)
    • Effluent Treatment Plant, Fire Hydrant Systems, Chemical Handling

• Leadership & Development:

  • Build and develop a strong team for operational excellence.
  • Drive cost optimization by developing indigenous vendors for spare parts and reducing O&M costs.

 

• Communication & Public Engagement:

  • Ability to speak effectively in public forums and represent the organization professionally.

 

• Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel), Email, and Internet applications.

 

• Preferred Attributes:

• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Proven ability to manage complex projects and lead cross-functional teams.

 

• Experience:

  15 - 25 years in Electrical Utility management for large-scale projects.
