Manager-Creative Services–USI Delivery Center for Creative Services

As a Design Manager (Specialist), you will take on a highly specialized role that blends advanced expertise across multiple design disciplines with a strong emphasis on large account management, client consultation, and art direction. This position is tailored for an experienced professional who excels at applying a broad range of design skills to develop innovative solutions and produce outstanding visual communications.

Work you’ll do

As a Design Manager (Specialist), you will take on a highly specialized role that blends advanced expertise across multiple design disciplines with a strong emphasis on large account management, client consultation, and art direction. This position is tailored for an experienced professional who excels at applying a broad range of design skills to develop innovative solutions and produce outstanding visual communications.

In this role, you will serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) across various design domains and platforms, offering strategic direction and creative leadership within the organization and during client engagements. You will drive the creation and implementation of a robust Creativity Mindset framework to foster a culture of innovation and elevate creative outcomes. Additionally, you will guide teams through the ideation and development stages, staying ahead of emerging design and technology trends. Your responsibilities will also include designing and delivering workshops that promote creativity and innovation, with a focus on new technologies such as Generative AI (GenAI).

  • Ability to integrate design strategies with broader business objectives, contributing to the overall success and competitive positioning of the studio
  • Dedicated to delivering designs that not only meet but exceed customer expectations, driving tangible business results and enhancing customer satisfaction
  • Oversee complex design projects from concept to creation, ensuring seamless integration of various design elements and disciplines
  • Lead art direction for all major projects, setting the creative vision and ensuring that all visual elements align perfectly with the customer briefs and Brand guidelines
  • Expertise in managing multiple, complex projects simultaneously, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and above expectations
  • A proactive approach to leveraging the latest design trends and technologies to enhance project outcomes and internal processes.
  • Ability to foresee potential challenges in design projects and strategically navigate solutions, maintaining project integrity and timelines
  • Rigorous attention to detail and commitment to delivering the highest quality work. Establishing and enforcing stringent quality control procedures to ensure all deliverables meet the required standards and customer expectations
  • Envisioning the future direction of the studio, setting a clear and attainable roadmap for achieving strategic goals
  • Drive collaboration and workflow across studios for multifaceted projects and load balance
  • Manage support to Deloitte member firms across geographies
  • Build capabilities in the team to meet future requirements
  • Be a point of contact to manage escalations and provide solutions
  • Foster a positive, inclusive, and high-performing work environment.

The team

Creative Services is Deloitte's largest global design team. The mission is to deliver brand consistency, enhance speed-to-market, and drive operational efficiencies through global alignment of creative services professionals, process, and technology. Deloitte’s US-India Delivery Center is dedicated to providing creative graphic solutions in a variety of mediums. With 150+ designers and coordinators located across three global regions—providing consistent, high-quality, professional creative services, this team has established its reputation with clients throughout Deloitte. The Creative Services practice provides support on 35+ project types, including but not limited to presentation, proposal, sales sheet, newsletter, annual report, brochure, poster, placemat, advertisement, video, animation, illustration, interactive design, signage, and SharePoint and microsite design.

Required qualifications and skills:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree, preferably in Graphic Design, Fine Arts or related discipline.
  • 10 to 13 years of total corporate experience with at least 3-4 years of people management experience. Experience of working in corporate graphic design, Advertising Agencies, or Studios will be a plus.
  • Proven experience managing graphic design teams and studio operations.
  • Mastery level in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) or Adobe After Effects, Adobe Premier Pro, Cinema 4D, etc.)
  • SME in multiple design areas: Print, Digital, Illustration, Video, etc. with certifications in design applications
  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills as well as the ability to inspire the creative teams
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven creative environment.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to inspire, motivate, and develop creative talent.
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to build credibility and collaborate with Deloitte professionals at all levels.

Preferred Attributes:

  • Experience in a creative agency, in-house design studio, or similar setting.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive team engagement and foster a positive culture.
  • Understanding of branding, visual storytelling, and multi-channel design production.

Work Location

  • Hyderabad

Work Timing

  • 5:30 am to 2:30 pm
  • 2:00 pm to 11:00 pm
  • Shift rotates every three months
