Manager BD & Strategy

What You’ll Do Eaton’s Corporate BD and Strategy team is looking for Manager BD & Strategy. The position will be based out of Pune, India. This role requires 10+ years of experience in strategic planning, business development, finance, or marketing, and working engagements in matrix structures. Candidate must possess strong business acumen, financial acumen, analytical, and strategic thinking skills. Experience with building cases including developing the strategic rationale and preparing materials for and participating in executive reviews. Job requires proficient English communication skills, including writing clear reports, and creating concise presentations. We desire a candidate with an understanding of and interest in industrial and manufacturing products, customers, and competitors, including electrical, automotive, truck and aerospace markets. Consultancy or strategy development experience background. Experience in analyzing and interpreting financial data. Exposure to strategy deployment, product management, product planning, supply chain or sales will be a great advantage. Roles And Responsibilities Identify strategic spaces, and build strategy with sound business recommendations, in alignment with key stakeholders. Lead in preparing succinct strategy case presentations across various markets and regions, and efforts on various internal and external management presentations. Conduct market, channel, technology, and regulatory research as needed and provide market size and market share for both served and adjacent markets. Support business initiatives by analyzing market conditions, industry dynamics, and competition to pinpoint strategic opportunities and risks. Support key management presentations including Investor Day, Spring and Fall Strategy Meetings and Board of Directors presentations Collaborate with business teams to identify product gaps and growth opportunities, offering strategic rationale and contributing to inorganic growth discussions. Present insights and recommendations to senior management for informed decision-making. Assess potential partnerships, acquisitions, and new markets to bolster growth strategies. Contribute to portfolio rationalization and divestiture projects through active participation in business discussions. Ability to work with multiple customers and manage senior executive expectations/priorities. Support local leadership in scaling up the broader BD team to develop and deliver quality research, analysis, business acumen, strategic thinking. Outstanding executive presence with strong communication skills, both verbal and written. Capability to effectively lead and grow team capabilities. Qualifications MBA or equivalent Experience Level: 10+ years Skills Experience in working on projects / teams that cross geographic boundaries.
